Privacy Policy
Based on Regulation No 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data
Definitions
- Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (data subject).
- Processing of Personal Data: Any activity or set of activities related to personal data or sets of personal data, conducted with or without automated resources. This includes collecting, registering, organising, structuring, storing, adapting or transforming, retrieving, reviewing, using, disclosing, sending, disseminating or otherwise making available, harmonising or combining, limiting, erasing, or destroying data.
- Client: An individual (data subject) who can be directly or indirectly identified via reference to an identifier, thus using personal data that are in the company's data processing system.
- Agreement by the Client: A freely provided, specific, conscious, and unambiguous statement about the desires of the subject, whereby the subject clearly confirms approval of the processing of their relevant personal data.
- Supervisor: A person, legal entity, agency, or other structure that determines the purposes and resources of personal data processing and also provides access to personal data.
- Authorised Person: An individual or legal entity, public institution, agency, or other structure on whose behalf personal data are processed.
- Microdata (Cookies): Small text data (related to visiting websites), stored on the client's device (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) when visiting SIA "Kolnig" websites.
- Legitimate Interests: The interests of SIA "Kolnig" in providing high-quality services, ensuring internal operations, and preventing fraud, while balancing the fundamental rights and freedoms of data subjects.
- Profiling: Automated processing of personal data used to evaluate specific personal aspects related to the individual, such as interests, behavior, or preferences. Profiling is conducted for direct marketing and business purposes and does not result in legal consequences for the client.
Processing of Personal Data
SIA "Kolnig" collects, processes, stores, copies, erases, and protects personal data in accordance with Regulation No 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data and applicable laws in the Republic of Latvia.
