If your hop up unit is as below, then this hop up arm is correct for you

The original VFC hop up arm tends to lack performance, especially when using big contact surface bucking’s.

This Product combined with the right bucking will increase the hop effect applied to the BB due to the spacers increased contact surface to the bucking, which results in better lifting performance especially when using heavy BBs (>0.4g).

We recommend the usage of bucking’s like the Begadi GBB5/VSR5/VSR7, Flamingo VSR, Modify X-Range, Maple Leaf MR or TNT TR-Hop

Recommended bb weight / power output combinations: 0.36g+ at 1.5J, 0.45g+ at 2J

Adjustment will be more precise/sensitive than with the original arm. Especially with ligher bb's.

Greatly improves hop consistency (with caviats).

I replaced my 2024 VFC M16a2 stock hop arm with this Clutch Precision one.
Dimensionally, the Clutch Precision arm is too narrow and would wobble in the stock hop chamber without shimming. In addition to that, the central pivot pin is also very narrowand would just barely sit in the holes (of the hop chamber halves) after shimming. Not sure of the long-term consequences.
After shimming however, the arm greatly improves hop consistency over the stock arm. Now the dispersion is finally circular whereas the stock hop arm prints oval groups.
I have yet to test field performance, but at 10m I can shoot 10 round groups with 3x3 cm dispersion (with freshly installed aftermarket inner barrel and bucking. All-stock setup out-of-the-box shoots like 10x15+cm groups with great vertical inconsistency).
Conclusion: Greatly recommended performance-wise, however shimming might be required depending on your hop chamber dimensions.
